Drake sweeps out the likes of Cardi B and Taylor Swift during the 2019 Billboard awards, even though Cardi B held 21 nominations which were the most, she snagged seven awards for the night including Top Rap Female Artist, "I Like It" for  Top Rap song and "Girls Like You" for Top Hot 100 Song...

In her acceptance  speech, she  went attend ahead to mention her upcoming fashion Line, and also went ahead to thank her fans for streaming and always checking in on her music. Drake won 12 awards of the 17 nominations putting him  to a total of 27 and  a record of the most awards at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards which were held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

"Sicko Mode" won Travis Scott an award for Top Streaming Audio Song while DJ Mustards' Ella Mai went ahead to get the Top R&B Artist.  Top R&B Female Artist  and "Boo'd up" for Top R&B Song whose records really represented on the charts and also broke genre  boundaries because they've been club hits out here in Boston too.
