In generations past, success was touted as power and wealth. However a new crop of AMBITIOUS entrepreneurs and creators have turned that stereotype on its nose. After an exhaustion induced accident that left her in a pool of blood, Editor in Chief and founder of The Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington left the hospital with four stitches to her eye from working 18 hour days just two years after launching the popular website. This eye opening fall woke Arianna up, sparking a journey for redefining success.

AsCity Life reports, during her commencement speech at the University of Santa Monica for the class of 2015, Arianna addressed the idea that burnout is the disease of our current civilization.

​NEWSFLASH! We are not robots! built to continually work ourselves into the ground. Our bodies and minds are not built to sustain continuously working ourselves into the ground. Our culture of burnout, overtime and overworking ourselves to attain success leaves many screaming, "THERE'S GOT TO BE ANOTHER WAY!!!!!"
